Enrico De Pieri – ‘A Word’… with the MSA Choir

On Monday 3 October 2016, Enrico De Pieri, a much-in-demand singer and actor (currently appearing as the genie Dschinni in Disney’s *Aladdin* on the stage of the Neue Flora theatre in Hamburg), met with journalist Dominik Lapp for a chat at the Stage Club in Hamburg for a concert and talk.

At the invitation of the two gentlemen, a choir from the Musicalschule Ahrensburg was given the opportunity to take part in this fantastic concert – many thanks!

We had great fun preparing our performances and rehearsing with Enrico De Pieri here at the Musicalschule Ahrensburg, and on the afternoon of the concert, we were all able to watch as the performers (Enrico, his guests and the band led by Hannes Schauz) prepared for the performance, for which there was very little rehearsal time available. But the professionals handled it with ease and a great deal of passion and dedication on what was actually their day off (which, in this case, was even a public holiday), and we think our choir did a brilliant job too! The fantastic feedback from the artists, organisers and audience confirmed this impression.
