What you’ll find in the MSA newsletter

We are a performing arts school in Ahrensburg – specialising in musical theatre, drama, dance and singing. In the newsletter, we share exactly the sort of information you’d otherwise only find out by regularly checking our website. Specifically, you’ll receive:

• Dates for taster sessions – usually twice a year (summer and January). Newsletter subscribers are the first to know when registration opens.
• New and available courses – whether Musical Mini Movers (3–6 years), Musical Kids (7–10 years), Musical Teens (11–14 years) or Musical Adults: If a place becomes available, you’ll be the first to know.
• Performances, showcases & events – what our students are putting on stage, plus dates for external performances and festivals.
• Backstage insights – short stories from lessons, interviews with tutors, and extracts from the MSA podcast.
• Tips and background information – covering voice, stage presence, applying to universities, stage fright – written from our practical experience.

How registration works

Registration follows the statutory double opt-in procedure: Once you have signed up above, we will send you a short confirmation email. Only once you have clicked on the confirmation link in this email will you be added to the newsletter. This ensures that nobody receives emails from us without their explicit consent – and that your email address cannot be misused.

You can unsubscribe at any time with a single click. You’ll find an unsubscribe link in every newsletter email.

Data protection and distribution

We use Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) for sending out the newsletter – a GDPR-compliant email service provider with servers in the European Union. Your data will be used exclusively for sending the MSA newsletter – no third-party advertising, no sharing, and no profiling beyond the newsletter.

Frequently asked questions about the newsletter

How often is the newsletter sent out?

Usually once a month. On special occasions – such as major performances or the start of a trial lesson period – we may occasionally send a short additional email. We won’t overwhelm you.

Is signing up really free?

Yes. The newsletter is and will remain free of charge. There is no premium tier, no hidden subscription.

What happens to my data?

We process your first name, surname and email address solely for the purpose of sending you the newsletter. The data is stored by the mailing service Brevo (EU server). If you unsubscribe, your details will be removed from the mailing list. Details: Privacy Policy.

How can I unsubscribe?

At the bottom of every newsletter email, you’ll find an unsubscribe link. Just one click is enough – your address will be removed from the mailing list immediately.

Will I receive advertising from other providers after signing up?

No. Your email address remains with us and will not be passed on to or sold to third parties. The Brevo mailing system also does not use your data for its own advertising purposes.

I’ve signed up but haven’t received a confirmation email – what should I do?

First, check your spam folder. If the email isn’t there, please get in touch briefly at info@musicalschule-ahrensburg.de – we’ll help you straight away.
