Ahrensburg Musical School in the media
Since its foundation in 2014, the Ahrensburg Musical School has attracted growing attention in regional, national and international media. What began as a performing arts school for children, young people and adults in Stormarn is now part of a wide-ranging network comprising a school, stage productions and artistic training — run by Musical Creations Entertainment GmbH under the direction of Jacqueline Dunnley-Wendt and Hauke Wendt.

Three levels of coverage
The school itself has been regularly featured in recent years in the Hamburger Abendblatt, the Stormarner Tageblatt (shz) and in Stormarn’s local online magazines — covering workshops, showcases by our pupils, the 2021 COVID-19 vaccination campaign in cooperation with the town, the Queen funeral tribute featuring Brian May’s ‘Hammer to Fall’ or, most recently, the international collaboration with the International College of Musical Theatre London (ICMT), which sent its students to Ahrensburg in March 2026 instead of Rome.
