MSA On Track is not an open programme. The MCE scholarship is awarded exclusively after a successful entrance audition and by express invitation — applying alone does not entitle you to a place.

What is MSA On Track?

If you want to go professionally on stage, you need more than talent. Entrance auditions at performing arts universities demand a complete skill set: singing, acting, dance — and the stage presence that brings it all together.

MSA On Track is Musicalschule Ahrensburg’s answer. Selected scholarship holders train intensively and in a structured way towards one clear goal: passing the university entrance audition. In return, scholarship holders represent the musical school and its partners.

The programme

Five disciplines  ·  Weekly  ·  Coordinated with one another

Individual singing

  45 min. / week  ·  One-to-one lessons

Individual voice work, repertoire building and targeted preparation for the singing requirements of the entrance audition.

Musical Theatre Training

  90 min. / week  ·  Group training

Scene work, singing and dance in an ensemble — the regular MSA group course as a compulsory component. If you already attend this course, you will continue in your current group – if you do not yet attend a group course at MSA, you will be placed in a suitable course.

Ballet

  90 min. / week

The foundation of all dance technique. Posture, control, expression — indispensable for any stage career.

Tap dance

  60 min. / week

Sense of rhythm, precision, body control. At entrance auditions, tap dance sets ambitious applicants apart from the crowd.

Acting & special courses

  60 min. / week  ·  Flexible

Acting lessons, monologue work, scene training or topic-based special courses — depending on current needs and the focus of the programme.

Individual singing every two weeks instead of weekly — all other disciplines fully retained.

The light option is not an equivalent alternative to the standard option. It is available where the financial situation leaves no other possibility, and is agreed individually.

Who is the programme for?

From age 14  ·  Serious career goal  ·  Audition-based

MSA On Track is aimed at young people with the clear goal of becoming a musical theatre performer or working in the performing arts. Access is exclusively via an entrance audition — the MCE scholarship is only awarded by express invitation.

  • A clear career goal: musical theatre performer / performing arts
  • At least basic skills in acting, dance and singing
  • Binding participation throughout the entire programme period (2026/27 cohort: 01.09.2026 – 31.07.2027)
  • Willingness to represent the programme and MSA/MCE
  • Parental consent (for minors)

FAQ about MSA On Track

Was ist MSA On Track?

MSA On Track ist das Stipendienprogramm der Musicalschule Ahrensburg: ein Intensivtraining zur Vorbereitung auf Aufnahmeprüfungen an Hochschulen für Performing Arts. Es umfasst fünf Disziplinen: Einzelgesang, Musical Theatre Training, Ballett, Stepptanz sowie Schauspiel und Sonderkurse.

Wer kann an MSA On Track teilnehmen?

Das Programm richtet sich an junge Menschen ab 14 Jahren mit dem klaren Ziel, Musicaldarsteller:in zu werden oder in den Performing Arts zu arbeiten. Vorausgesetzt werden mindestens Grundkenntnisse in Schauspiel, Tanz und Gesang. Bei Minderjährigen ist das Einverständnis der Eltern nötig. Der Zugang erfolgt ausschließlich über eine Aufnahmeaudition.

Wie läuft die Aufnahmeaudition ab?

Die Bewerbung erfolgt per E-Mail mit Lebenslauf und Motivationsschreiben (maximal eine Seite). Zur Audition bringst du einen Song mit Playback und einen kurzen Monolog mit, beides in freier Wahl. Die Tanzaudition wird vor Ort gestellt. Das MCE-Stipendium wird nur auf ausdrückliche Einladung vergeben.

Was kostet MSA On Track? (Stand 2026/27)

Das Paket hat einen Gesamtwert von 451 € pro Monat. Das MCE-Stipendium übernimmt 176 €, der Eigenanteil in der Standardoption beträgt 275 € pro Monat.

Was ist die Light-Option? (Stand 2026/27)

Die Light-Option kostet 195 € pro Monat. Der Einzelgesang findet 14-tägig statt wöchentlich statt, alle anderen Disziplinen bleiben vollständig erhalten. Sie ist keine gleichwertige Alternative zur Standardoption, steht nur dort zur Verfügung, wo der finanzielle Rahmen keine andere Möglichkeit lässt, und wird individuell abgestimmt.

Ist MSA On Track eine Berufsausbildung?

Nein. Die Musicalschule Ahrensburg ist vom Land Schleswig-Holstein als berufsausbildungsvorbereitende Einrichtung anerkannt. MSA On Track bereitet gezielt auf Aufnahmeprüfungen an Hochschulen vor, ersetzt aber keine Ausbildung.

Welche Vorteile bringt die Partnerschaft mit dem ICMT?

Teilnehmende erhalten Zugang zu ICMT-Masterclasses mit internationalen Coaches und Lehrenden, wirken bei Veranstaltungen des ICMT am Campus Ahrensburg mit und bekommen Zugang zum internationalen ICMT-Netzwerk.
