The Musicalschule Ahrensburg, founded in 2014 by Musical Creations Entertainment GmbH in 2014, has established itself as a leading institution for musical theatre training since its foundation. Born out of direct demand from enthusiastic workshop participants, the school has grown organically into a vibrant centre for the performing arts. Driven by the deep passion and wealth of experience of its founders, the artist couple Jacqui Dunnley-Wendt and Hauke Wendt, as well as a highly qualified team, the Musicalschule Ahrensburg sets the standard in the industry.
Jacqui Dunnley-Wendt, an internationally sought-after director, choreographer and teacher who trained at, amongst other places, the renowned Urdang Academy in London and has many years of stage experience, brings, together with her husband, the musician and conductor Hauke Wendt , is bringing their vision of a well-founded, passionate education at the MSA to life. Unlocking potential: The MSA’s mission
A central element of the Musicalschule Ahrensburg’s mission is the unique combination of a broad-based approach and the targeted support for highly gifted students. The school creates an inspiring atmosphere in which every individual can flourish in their own way. At the same time, ambitious talents are given a concrete opportunity to prepare for the demanding entrance examinations at art colleges and universities of the arts.
The school management and the instructors take an individual approach to each student, identifying personal potential and providing support when faced with challenges, so that opportunities can be made the most of. In doing so, the team consistently combines a high level of professional expertise with a humanistic, personal touch, fostering not only artistic skill but also personal development. The Musicalschule Ahrensburg’s programme is aimed at a broad audience: from children aged 3 and above to teenagers and young adults with professional ambitions. Adult students and former stage professionals are also very welcome to pursue and develop their passion for musical theatre.
