Ritter Rost 2017 in Ahrensburg

With *RITTER ROST*, our Mini Movers and Musical Kids made their first really big appearance: on 5 February 2017, in the sold-out Alfred-Rust-Saal, they performed a full-length musical for the very first time, acting, dancing and singing everything live! Naturally, we were incredibly proud of the young performers and hope they enjoyed this fantastic and exciting project just as much as we did:

RITTER ROST musical in Ahrensburg!

After we’d practised a number of basics and techniques, there was a proper casting session, during which the children were, of course, allowed to express their preferences for roles. We were already very impressed by the love and precision with which many of the young artists had prepared for this part of our exciting project. Once the roles had been allocated, there was a relatively short rehearsal period during which everyone worked with great focus, always with the big goal in mind: the performances of Ritter Rost. The performance weekend itself was, of course, even more thrilling and exciting for everyone involved than the time leading up to it, and once we’d finally arrived at the theatre, we put the finishing touches to our performance alongside setting up the technical equipment. In between, we all recharged our batteries – both mentally and physically – at our in-house muffin parties!

During the performance itself, everyone surpassed themselves and were rightly celebrated with great enthusiasm by the audience – congratulations to all the young performers on this successful performance, and once again, our heartfelt thanks to everyone who lent a helping hand!

The performance of *Ritter Rost* took place alongside the German premiere of Disney’s *Alice in Wonderland Jr.* as part of the *Musicals in Ahrensburg* series organised by Musical Creations Entertainment.

ahrensburg24.de published a very complimentary article with lots of lovely photos, which is unfortunately no longer available online: “A Bravo for Ahrensburg’s Children”.

What we’d still like to know, though, is: who won the fantastic prize draw organised by the Hamburger Sparkasse? ?
