Heatwave in Ahrensburg – Lessons continue as normal

Dear musical theatre students, dear parents,

It’s set to be a really hot day here in Ahrensburg today, and there’s even a risk of severe storms. We’d like to give you a quick update on what this means for lessons at the musical school.

Lessons will go ahead as normal!

Yes, you read that correctly: despite the heat and the weather warnings, lessons will go ahead as normal today. Our studios are equipped to cope with the temperatures. Studio 1 has air conditioning, which ensures comfortable temperatures. Although Studio 2 isn’t air-conditioned, it faces north and is sheltered, so it will also be bearable in there.

Adjusted programme for hot days

Of course, we know that physical exertion isn’t ideal in this weather. That’s why our instructors have prepared a special programme tailored to the weather. There won’t be any particularly physically demanding training today, but rather activities that you’ll be able to take part in comfortably even in these temperatures.

No rehearsals for the upcoming performances

An important note for everyone who’s been rehearsing hard for our upcoming, exciting performances: there will be no rehearsals during lessons today! This means that if you decide not to come to lessons today because of the weather, that’s perfectly fine and won’t affect your rehearsals for the performances. You won’t be missing out on anything in that respect.

Although we understand if anyone would rather stay at home today, to enable us to plan and prepare our lessons accordingly, we urge you to let us know in advance, as always, by emailing info@musicalschule-ahrensburg.de if you are unable to attend lessons (today). These cancellations are, of course, always important for our lesson planning, whatever the weather.
