A fresh start for culture in the new 2021–22 school year!
We’ve kicked off the new 2021/2022 school year this week with great enthusiasm and have really enjoyed having so many students and our instructors back on campus!
We have plenty of news that will bring lots of joy this academic year, and which we look forward to sharing with you over the coming weeks.
Among the less welcome news is the building site here on Bogenstraße, with which the town of Ahrensburg has given us an unpleasant surprise, just in time for the new academic year and following a long closure. Unfortunately, the town’s building authority is anything but understanding or helpful, which leaves us utterly baffled. But even this reckless and outrageous behaviour (unfortunately, such strong words are appropriate) won’t stop us.
Among the good news is a grant from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media through the ‘Neustart Kultur’ initiative, as part of the DIS-TANZ-IMPULS programme coordinated by the Federal Dance Association! More information on this will follow shortly!
