A summer party full of sparkle and joy
What a wonderful afternoon! Today, Saturday 28 June 2025, we celebrated this year’s summer party at the Musicalschule Ahrensburg, and it was a resounding success! The sun was shining just as brightly as you all were, and the atmosphere from 2 pm to 5 pm was simply fantastic.
By early afternoon, our school playground was already filling up with smiling faces. The scent of freshly grilled sausages filled the air, and our lovingly prepared spread of cakes and coffee left nothing to be desired. There were also refreshing drinks to help cool us down in the summer heat. A big thank you goes to Krohn-Heizung GmbH, who once again sponsored our sausage stand and looked after it so well – the sausages were a hit, as always!
A particular highlight was the guided tours of our musical school. Many took the opportunity to take a peek behind the scenes and get to know the premises where our students hone their talents day in, day out. And there was a fantastic surprise in store for our youngest guests: face painting brought a sparkle to their eyes and created imaginative designs on their faces!
A stage programme that wowed the crowd
The absolute highlight of the festival, however, was our extensive stage programme. Our students demonstrated with great passion and skill what they had learnt over the past few months. It was particularly exciting to see some groups (both children’s and adults’) back on the stage, making their very first performance. The applause and the delighted faces showed just how brilliant they were. Whether singing, dancing or acting – the variety of performances was impressive and earned standing ovations. It was a joy to see how much talent and passion went into every single performance. We are incredibly proud of our young artists!
Élyse – Our Student of the Year!
Another spine-tingling moment was the presentation of our Student of the Year award. This year, Jacqui and Hauke had the honour of recognising the talented Élyse for her outstanding achievements and dedication. Congratulations, Élyse – you’ve more than earned it!
A celebration of community
For all of us, the summer party is one of the few and most important occasions of the year when students, family members, our entire team and friends can come together to celebrate the unique sense of community at the musical school. It was wonderful to see everyone chatting, laughing and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. The fantastic feedback we received throughout the afternoon confirms just how important moments like these are.
