We are delighted that Prof. Patricia Martin (Patti), the Musical Director of the Musical Theatre programme at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Essen, will be coming to Ahrensburg for a weekend workshop!
Together with our headteacher Jacqueline Dunnley-Wendt (Jacqui), she will lead each group in a fun and engaging session to rehearse a song from a musical, for which Jacqui will develop a scene and choreography.
On Sunday, each group will give a small, intimate performance of what they’ve learnt for the participants’ families and friends.
No prior experience is required for this weekend, and beginners will enjoy it just as much as the ‘old hands’ 🙂

Musical Theatre Workshop Weekend 2017 for primary school-aged children:
Saturday 11 November 2017 and Sunday 12 November 2017, 10.00–11.30 am on both days
with a short performance for family and friends on Sunday at 11.15 am.
Participation fee per participant: €29
Musical Workshop Weekend 2017 for teenagers (up to around Year 9)
Saturday 11 November 2017 and Sunday 12 November 2017, 12.00–14.00 on both days
with a short performance for family and friends on Sunday at 13.45.
Participation fee per participant: €39
Musical Workshop Weekend 2017 for adults aged 15 and over
Saturday 11 November 2017 and Sunday 12 November 2017, 3.00 pm – 5.30 pm on both days
with a short performance for family and friends on Sunday at 5.15 pm.
