1. How to make a booking
Bookings for trial lessons, workshops and events/shows are made on a binding basis via the Musicalschule Ahrensburg online shop, a service provided by Musical Creations Entertainment GmbH.
Payment is processed via the payment service provider Mollie B.V.
A booking is only confirmed once full payment has been received. Only then is the place considered to be bindingly reserved.
2. Exclusion of withdrawal / cancellation by customers
Upon completion of the booking, the customer secures a fixed place on the course for a specific date.
Once a booking has been made, the customer is generally not permitted to withdraw, cancel or rebook.
A refund of the participation fee is not possible if the customer – for whatever reason – does not attend the booked session.
3. Right of withdrawal
As these are leisure services subject to specific dates, there is no right of withdrawal in accordance with Section 312g(2)(9) of the German Civil Code (BGB).
4. Cancellation by the musical school
The Musicalschule Ahrensburg reserves the right to cancel events, in particular in the event of:
- Illness of instructors
- Insufficient number of participants
- force majeure
- other circumstances beyond our control
In such cases, an alternative date will be offered where possible.
Should no alternative date be possible, any participation fees already paid will be refunded.
No further claims shall arise.
5. Liability
Participation in all activities is at your own risk.
The Musicalschule Ahrensburg is only liable for damages:
- arising from injury to life, limb or health
- in the event of a breach of duty caused by wilful misconduct or gross negligence
- in the event of a breach of material contractual obligations (cardinal obligations)
In all other respects, liability is excluded – to the extent permitted by law.
No liability is accepted for participants’ personal belongings.
6. Costs incurred by the customer
Costs arising from the customer’s culpable conduct shall be borne by the customer.
These include, in particular:
- Returned direct debits
- unpaid payments
- reminder fees
- additional administrative costs
7. Participation by minors
When booking on behalf of minors, the persons making the booking confirm that they are legal guardians or are acting with the consent of the legal guardians.
8. Delivery
The courses generally take place on site.
There is no entitlement to the course being delivered by a specific team, by specific instructors or at a specific location, provided this is not essential to the delivery of the course.
9. Final provisions
Should any provision of these booking terms and conditions be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
